I bought my fiancée a gorgeous 3 stone 18ct white gold engagement ring in April 09 from Diamonds USA and proposed shortly after.
She loves it and I am delighted with the quality and price. It is stunning.
But don''t take my word for it: We needed to get it made bigger (Tracey told me J but she is a K) and a jeweller in the UK took it in for resizing. They valued it at the time (in case they messed it up) and estimated its replacement cost at over twice what I paid for it.
If anything I think this is a conservative estimate judging by their stock at the time. The lady also said it was very rarely that she was actually impressed by an item of jewellery but she was very impressed with this ring.
At this point some of the other staff came over and the general consensus was it was a stunning and unique item. It certainly caused a stir and this is among people who sell jewellery for a living.
Tracey has her beautiful ring back now and I doubt she will be letting it out of her sight for the rest of her life. So thankyou! Pete (Lancashire, England)
