The singer recently made her acting debut in the film A Star Is Born where she stars opposite four time Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper in his directorial debut. In an interview after the release of the movie, Lady Gaga came out about her engagement to fiancé Christian Carino. For months, the singer-cum-actor has flaunted an insanely big pink rock in her fourth finger sparkling rumors and speculations. But the media being used to her down low ways stood by till the right time.
On 15th October, the singer for the first time went on record thanking talent agent Christian Carino referring to him as her “fiancé” while making an on-stage speech. The whole thing came out in the way of the announcement, and her fans went wild with joy. If you are not familiar with the name Carino, it’s because Carino is more of a behind the scene man. Christian Carino was a former talent agent of Lady Gaga. The two got engaged in the summer after Carino asked her father for her hand in marriage.

Andrew Brown, who is the president of WP Diamonds said that in his opinion, the rock is a pink sapphire and it is no less than 6 or 7 carats. The dazzling halo which eclipses the stone from around, he says, is about 3 to 4 carats in weight.
As for the specs of the stone, those details too are in the way. Until they arrive, our sole source is jewelers who have said that it is likely an untreated pink sapphire of top quality. Brown was quoted saying, It looks like it may be a padparadscha sapphire, in which case this ring would easily retail between $300,000 and $400,000”. If it really is a Padparadscha sapphire as Brown says, then his price guestimation is pretty neat. Padparadscha sapphires are one of the rarest kinds of sapphires on earth. They are very high quality, swoon-worthy and very coveted as engagement ring adornment. The one other Padparadscha sapphire that we have seen recently on an engagement ring is Princess Eugene’s.
