This story broke back last Xmas, but it never fails to create a buzz and a smile of shock and awe.
The World’s Most Expensive Lingerie – Diamond Thong: If you adore exceptional gifts, you will certainly like a black lace thong studded with 518 brilliant-cut diamonds in a floral pattern.
The skimpy Triumph Luxurious Diamond Thong became very much the centre of attention at a lingerie show during the Singapore Fashion Festival. Just imagine, the total weight of the diamonds is 30 carats! They also attached to the thong 27 tassels made of white gold. In general the diamond thong left little to the imagination. The price for the thong with diamond – the world’s most expensive undies is worth 122, 000 dollars!
Romanian model Danielle Luminita was showcasing the thong sitting on the shoulders of two shirtless male models that carried her down the runway. “It is very comfortable, it’s not heavy or scratchy or anything,” Luminita said backstage.

Probably the most expensive champagne in the world. A bottle of 1961 vintage Dom Perignon champagne that was ordrered for the wedding of Britain’s Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana’s will be auctioned off.
The 1961 vintage champagne “Dom Perignon” was selected by the Royal House for the event because it Diana’s birth year. James Grinter of auction house Reeman Dansie said, “It is very rare to find a Royal Wedding bottle of 1961 Dom Perignon because it was a strictly limited release and even rarer to find it still sealed in its original box.”
According to sources, only 99 bottles of the vintage – regarded as one of the best diamonds ever produced – were shipped across from the France’s Champagne region for the wedding. It had been thought that every bottle had been opened and drunk at the celebration, however it seems there’s one bottle left for some lucky buyer to enjoy.

LA Laker star player Lamar Odom and reality TV star Khloe Kardashian finally tied the knot and married in Beverly Hills this Sunday after only a month long relationship.
Kardashian wore a Vera Wang gown to compliment her stunning engagement ring. The bridal party wore lavender outfits and carried magical bouquets of white roses.
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian recently took to her blog to show off photos of herself trying on her mother’s (Kris Jenner) old wedding gowns. The photo shoot was her way of cheering up her mom, since younger sis Khloe Kardashian called the dress (which Jenner wore to marry first husband Robert Kardashian) “ugly” while they were taping the wedding special for the family’s reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
“It was a perfect fit,” Kim blogged. “I did look like Little Bo Peep, but it was pretty special. I then tried on my mom’s dress she wore when she married Bruce. It’s sooo 90s hahaha.”

Take That fans met outside a famous church in a Scottish Highland village in a hope to catch sight one of thier idols, the singer Mark Owen as he marries his long term fiancee Emma Ferguson at Cawdor Village Church.
After a long engagement when Emma was presented with a stunning loose diamond for her to set into the ring of her choice, the couple spent some time planning where and how to marry.
The former Take That star planned a low-key wedding, with the couple refusing offers from a number of celebrity magazines to photograph the wedding in return for a large pay day. The couple and their children, Elwood and Willow Rose, were joined by a 50-strong wedding party, including fellow band members Jason Orange, Howard Donald and Gary Barlow.
Their wedding party was held at the nearby Cawdor Castle after the service.
The Highlands are known for high-profile celebrity weddings. In 2000, Madonna and Guy Ritchie tied the knot at Skibo Castle, and had their son Rocco christened at nearby Dornoch Cathedral.

In India Hinduism rules the culture and none more than for devout believer Kanubhai Asodaria who is offering prayers directly to a Diamond Idol in the shape of Lord Ganesha.
Asodaria acquired this 182.53 carat rough cut loose diamond over 10 years ago from a dealer in Antwerp, Belgium.
‘‘I had purchased rough stones in bulk. When I was sorting them out at home, I could make out that the biggest stone resembled Lord Ganesha. I decided to preserve it and this is the only stone I have refused to part with all these years,’’ said Asodaria, who runs Karam Exports, a small diamond firm.
Like other diamond traders, he sources roughs from abroad and gets them polished in Surat, India. Though he refuses point blank to get this particular gem polished since he feels it would lose its divine shape and thus significance However the diamond is certified by the central government-run Indian Diamond Institute (IDI), Surat. The yellowish grey stone is 48 mm high, 32 mm wide and 20 mm thick and weighs in at 36.50 grams.

Did you really think that last diamond ring you’d ever receive would be either your engagement ring or wedding band? Well, think again, because, thanks to the practice of commemorating your special day with wedding anniversaries, the diamond rings will just keep coming. With every passing year comes a wedding anniversary, but there are some anniversaries that can be more special than others. A long time ago, people began naming anniversaries – such as the 25th wedding anniversary being the silver, and the 60th, the diamond. There are many more in between, and we’ve picked out a few diamond anniversary rings we think are suitable for these special anniversaries.
The names go as followed: 5th Wooden, 10th Tin, 15th Crystal, 20th China, 25th Silver, 30th Pearl, 40th Ruby, 50th Golden, 60th Diamond. Maybe a beautiful diamond ring every 5 years is a little much (you could probably substitute a vacation for a few of them), but certain wedding anniversaries can definitely be celebrated with a new diamond ring.
After 15 years, for the Crystal anniversary, we picked out the Lucida Ring. A beautiful, three stones, round cut diamond ring is the perfect ring to mark the occasion. It will certainly make the statement that the last 15 years have been magical, and you can’t wait for the next 15 years together. With a small sapphire detail on the side, this ring has some personality, making it uniquely an anniversary ring. You can’t go wrong with this beauty for your beauty!
For the Silver anniversary, or the 25th anniversary, we chose something a bit more simple and sophisticated. This band, composed of 7 diamonds and blue sapphires is enchanting and truly one of a kind. Its modesty is good, since she can wear it with her engagement ring and the combination won’t be overpowering.
Finally, we had to search long and hard to find the perfect ring for the 60th wedding anniversary, the Diamond Anniversary. For this, we go back to the basics. Sixty or more years ago, you gave your lovely bride a beautiful engagement ring that marked the beginning of your new lives together. There is no better way to celebrate the Diamond Anniversary than with a ring that shows you are just as much in love now as you were back then. The round solitaire diamond is our ring of choice – a beautiful ring that will make her remember the day you proposed like it was yesterday. You can fall in love all over again with a ring like this.

Diamond necklaces have been around for an eternity. Nothing connotes fortune, sophistication and beauty like a diamond pendant. There are millions of diamond necklaces to choose from, one more sparkling than the next, but no necklace makes a statement quite like the mother of all diamond pendants – The Hope Diamond.
To most, the Hope Diamond is known as the largest diamond in the world. This is, in fact, true, but the Hope Diamond has a real story behind its notorious status. It is a story that goes back several centuries, and part of the magic of this diamond lies within the journey it has taken over the last few hundred years.
The first form the Hope Diamond took was known as the Tavernier Blue Diamond. It was named after the French merchant and traveler, Jean-Baptiste Tavernier, who brought the 115 diamond back to Europe. It is a mystery where he actually found the diamond. In 1669, Tavernier sold the diamond to King Louis XVI for the equivalent of 147 kilograms of pure gold.
Around 8 years later, King Louis XVI had the diamond recut to a 67 1/8 carat stone, set in gold and ultimately suspended on a ribbon, making it a pendant he could wear around his neck. He called it the Blue Diamond of the Crown. Many years later, the stone was reset into a more elaborate pendant, and again, changed its name.
The Hope Diamond, while all theories of its existence are still unproven, is thought to have been cut from the Blue Diamond of the Crown that King Louis XVI made. Whether or not this story is true or not, the original diamond that the Hope Diamond came from has had quite a journey, and has gained a following and fame everywhere it went, and in every form it took.
